Talk it through
We look at the room, the budget and the timeline, and we tell you which of the three materials actually fits. If quartz is wrong for your patio, we say so at this stage, not after you have picked a colour.
Slab selection
For granite and quartzite you pick the physical slab, because no two are alike. We go with you, we look at how the veining runs, and we plan which part of the slab becomes the island.
Field measure and template
We come out and template against the cabinets as they are actually installed, not as they were drawn. Walls are never square. Catching that here is what prevents a bad seam later.
Fabrication in our shop
Cutting, edging, polishing and sink cutouts all happen in Palm Desert with our own equipment. If something needs a judgement call, the person making it is standing at the saw.
Installation
The crew sets the tops, levels them, joins and fills the seams, and handles the sink and cooktop fit. We clean up before we leave, which should not be worth mentioning but apparently is.
Walk-through
We go over the finished work with you, show you how to care for the surface, and leave you the sealer if the material needs it. Then we stay reachable, because we live here too.

About the schedule.
What we control
Templating, fabrication and install are ours. Once your slab is in the shop, the cutting and edging is a matter of days, not weeks, because nothing sits in another shop's queue.
What we do not
Slab availability and shipping belong to the supplier. If a quartzite is coming from a distributor's Los Angeles yard, that leg is on their truck. We will tell you honestly where the wait is.
Working with your trades
We coordinate with cabinet installers, plumbers and electricians so the counters land in the right week. Tell us who else is on the job and we will call them directly.
